Till now, He has Published 6 Books, that divulge the secrets behind success, as an individual, and as one society. He is honored with more than 50 Awards & Felicitations at State, National and International Levels, including – The National Award – Bhartiya Samaj Ratna Award 2022, National Level – Human Rights Nobel Award 2022, National Level – Bharat Scout 2000. ABOUT

Born in Khambale Tal-Trambakeshwar, Nashik District, Maharastra, on 6th March 1983. He completed his graduation in History from S.M.D.L. College Kalamboli, Panvel, Raigad in 2006, and later earning his Masters’ Degree of Social Work from College Of Social Work, Nashik in 2008.Vijay was taught about responsibility, through actions. the promise of Rakhi, he made to his 2 sisters, Asha & Kalpana, took new meanings as awareness came. 

Vijay’s Father, Shri Hiraman Kokane Is An International Motivational Speaker, Who Was Involved In Countless Humanitarians Acts. He Often Took Vijay With Him On These Explorations, That Became The Foundation Behind Vijay’s Compassion And Integrity. Knowing Their Own Privileged Life, This Kind-Hearted Family Wanted To Share Their Happiness And Contentment With Others As Well. Thus, Stepping Into The World Of Social Activists. 

With strong support from his mother, Suman Kokane, his wife, Asha, and his son, Vedant, Vijay never had much struggle, juggling both his Social Work and Family Time. As they participated in those activities with him. With their love and support, Vijay never had a reason to doubt his cause and feel fear of failure.

Social Workers are those selected few who care so much, that the only thing that hurts more is not caring at all. They care about the unknown individual, without asking for anything in return. They protect those who cannot do so themselves, be it from abuse mental or physical or some other atrocity done. They provide a hand with the government support, behind their back, removing the victim from the situation and offering them a safe haven. They are the ones who see the world’s worst yet still believe their efforts can make the world a better place.

Throughout his college days, Vijay applied himself and volunteered to various Government Schemes and NGOs. In 2008, Dr. Kokane worked as a Project Manager for the Project on Sickle Cell Disease Prevention & Control Programme (Project Of National Ruler Health Mention). He also worked as a Volunteer with Asha Kiran Manav Vikas Sanstha, for Community Development Project in Panvel Taluka, of Raigad District, Maharashtra. 

JOURNEY

In this 21st Century, one needs to stand out, with their attitude, skills, or talent. Without doing so, one has no future. They cannot hold a job, thus perpetuate poverty and inequality. The scheme started by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship “Jan Shikshan Santhan” to enable trainees and the working age people to gain access to knowledge and skill training, which contributes to structural transformation and economic growth by enhancing employability and labour productivity and helping countries to become more competitive.

Government Schemes in India are initiatives established by the government to address the social and economic well-being of the country’s population. They are mandatory government-sponsored or maintained agreements, or contribution to the development of Rural and Backward Areas. Pensions, insurance, maternity benefits, housing, and other social security measures are all counted among the Government Schemes set up to ease the living of a common man.

All of such Schemes have been basically of three-types depending upon funding & implementing agencies. They are Central Schemes or Central Sector Schemes, Central Sponsored Schemes and State Schemes. In 2022 Union Budget of India, there are 740 Central Sector (CS) schemes. and 65 Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).

Dr. Vijay began his service as a Programme Officer with Jan Shikshan Sansthan Raigad – Maharashtra, in 2010, which lasted up to 5 Year & 6 Months. Afterwards, due to his Contributions and Hard work, He was promoted to Director of Jan Shikshan Sansthan Raigad – Maharashtra, in 2015, a role he has been playing for the last 9 years. 

The scheme under Dr. Vijay’s supervision, offers more than 30 courses to the masses, including fashion designing, tailoring, mobile repairing, food processing and much more. After 3-5 months of continuous effort, one can test out of the course, receiving a Certification from Government Of India. The Role of Supervising, Control and Implementation falls on Vijay’s shoulders as the Director. Every year, more than 3000 villagers receive their certification, citing their expertise in their favored subject.

Under The Guidance Of Dr Kirit Somaiya Ji (Chairman Yuvak Pratisthan Mumbai), Dr Medha Somaiya (Founder JSS Raigad) & Dr Nitin Gandhi & Prof Avinash Oak (Chairman JSS Raigad), Mr Naren Jadhav , Vijay & His JSS Team visit about 8 to 10 villages daily to continue improvement to the economy and better the life of the common man. Due to his outstanding leadership and his team’s effort, Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Raigad – Maharashtra was awarded with “The Saakshar Bharat National Literacy Award 2016”, as well as, National Award – Swachhata Puraskar 2018. 

In 2022, Vijay was honored with multiple awards and felicitations, due to his hardwork in helping the country get back on its feet after the Covid Period. He was awarded the National Level – Bhartiya Samaj Ratna Award -2022 on 28th August 2022, by hand of Padma Shri Awardee of India Dr. Padmaja Reddy. They are but a few drops in the ocean of his achievements. Vijay is also a published author, having written and published 6 Books till now. His 1st book was a Collection of Poetry, published in 2008, named “College Vishwa Ek Pravas” After which, Vijay focused on his Career and settling down. His 2nd book, “The Pradhanmantri Sansad Adarsha Gram Yojana – Zilha Raigad, Maharashtra Karya Adhava” was published in 2016. It was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his project, “Sansad Adarsha Gram Yojana”. 

In 2017, Vijay released an informative book, regarding “Warli Painting” which explains in detail the designs, the art of Warli and its artistic sense to the reader. His book “Warli Painting – an Artistic Creative Training Handbook” earned him a Doctorate in Fine Arts from Southwestern American University on 9th November 2022.

His books “Ghod Daud – A Humanitarian Existence” (2019), “Vedant – “Self-Reflection Of Positive Life Education” (2020) and “Public Financial Management System- (PFMS Eat Module For JSSs)” (2021) are equally well received by the Readers. Through These Books, Dr. Vijay Hiraman Kokane Is Providing Free Guidance On Pollution Control, Environmental Protection, Legal Awareness And Digital Financial Literacy.
