Debangana Banerjee (born in 10 MARCH 1998 IN KOLKATA WEST BENGAL) is an Indian author, entrepreneur, nutritionist, and social worker, known for her contributions to literature, public health, and tribal development. She is the founder and member of the Santoshpur Tribal Development and Human Watch Society (www.stdahws.in), an NGO dedicated to the upliftment of tribal communities and marginalized groups.

Early Life and Education

Debangana Banerjee was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She completed her schooling at Young Horizons and Kalyani Central Model School. She pursued her higher education in Tourism Studies (BTS) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), where she also completed a Certificate in Food and Nutrition. Additionally, she holds a specialization as a Psychiatrist Nutritionist from BeMedic Academy.

Career

Banerjee began her career combining her interests in literature, mental health, and community service. She is recognized for her dedication to nutrition, wellness, and sustainable lifestyle practices, particularly among underprivileged populations. As an entrepreneur and interior decorator, she integrates creative expression into her work, while as a nutritionist, she advocates for authentic, practical, and culturally sensitive diet planning.
