lessons. He studied under various accomplished gurus and masters, with a keen interest in
multiple genres of music including classical, Sufi, Ghazals, and bhajans. He honed his skills at
the prestigious Shastriya Sangeet Vidyalaya in Indore, where he completed his ‘Diploma in
Hindustani Classical Music’. His early exposure to classical training provided him with a solid
foundation in music, allowing him to explore diverse genres while maintaining a connection to
his roots.

From a very young age, Sarthak was determined to break the conventional musical boundaries
that many traditional families tried to instill in him. Unlike many, Sarthak believed that success in music did not rely solely on lineage but rather on personal dedication and effort. This belief led

Working with A.R. Rahman on projects like Chamkila, Maidaan, Mili, Pippa, VTK, and Ponniyin

extend beyond and he worked with celebrated directors like Imtiaz Ali and
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and iconic lyricists like Javed Akhtar and Irshad Kamil.

Sarthak’s reach has expanded beyond the Indian film industry to global music platforms. He was
part of the Orchestral Qawwali Project for Rushil Ranjan and contributed his lead vocals to
Songs of the Bulbul, a project that premiered globally with Manchester Camerata.

His international presence was further solidified through his contributions to the score of the
BAFTA-nominated documentary Always Asifa, which was released in the UK. He has also
collaborated with French composer Fortunat Frölich on the album Seer and Sight and lent his
voice to the Shantaram series on Apple TV, partnering with Adam Peters.

Awards in 2008 by the honorable Minister of State for Madhya Pradesh. Sarthak has also been

India’s Got Talent (2011), among others. His incredible contributions to music have earned him
the World Record Association honor for his outstanding work in multiple languages.

Additionally, Sarthak was bestowed with several national awards, including nomination for  National Bal Puraskar (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) in the field of singing, and was featured in Sonu Nigam Live Shows, where he performed alongside some of India’s leading artists. Classic, and has made appearances in numerous high-profile events.
